The Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra is kicking off its 2024 “BRAVO Maestro!” Campaign with a raffle to celebrate 26 years of bringing classical orchestral music to appreciative audiences across the Eastern Shore.  The youthful dynamism and energized performances our Grammy Award-winning Music Director/Conductor Michael Repper has brought to the MSO give us good reason to shout “BRAVO Maestro!”  Please join in supporting Maestro Repper and the MSO by purchasing a ticket (or five!) to win one of our raffle prizes.

 

PRIZE #1: ANY 2024 8-DAY EUROPEAN RIVER CRUISE ON VIKING CRUISE LINE

The Viking brochure, which can be found be clicking here, describes the several river cruises offered by Viking – the Romantic Danube, Danube Waltz, Chateaux, Rivers & Wine, Paris & the Heart of Normandy, Rhine Getaway, and Lyon & Provence. The 8-day European river cruise prize includes a standard stateroom up to category E and meals, shore excursions and tours, and is valid for 2024 embarkations. Reservations should be made 120 days prior to departure. As usual, airfare, transfers land extensions and Christmas holiday itineraries are not included.

Viking values this cruise prize at $8,198.

 

PRIZE #2: TWO-DAY EXCURSION FOR TWO TO WASHINGTON, D.C.

This prize consists of the following components:

  • Round trip limousine transportation from Easton provided by Executive Taxi & Transportation Services (valued at $600)

  • Certificate for two box seats to a performance of the National Symphony Orchestra in the Concert Hall of The Kennedy Center (valued at $200)

  • $300 certificate for a theatrical performance at the National Theater

  • $500 certificate for hotel accommodations at the JW Marriott Hotel

  • $200 certificate for dinner at La Chaumiere in Georgetown

 

PRIZE #3: TWO-DAY EXCURSION FOR TWO TO NEW YORK CITY

This prize consists of the following components:

  • Round trip transportation on Acela from Washington, D.C., or Baltimore to New York City

  • $200 ticket voucher for two to a performance of the New York Philharmonic by June 1, 2024

  • Afternoon tea with champagne for two at The Whitby Hotel

  • $2,000 certificate for hotel accommodations at The Whitby Hotel

 

This year’s Campaign runs through May 5, when we will draw the winning tickets at intermission of the MSO concert that day at the Todd Performing Arts Center at Chesapeake College.

If you have participated in our previous “BRAVO Maestro” campaigns, you know the critical importance of this fundraising effort to the MSO’s continuing ability to bring outstanding symphonic music and word-renowned soloists to the Eastern Shore. Regardless of whether you have participated in “BRAVO Maestro” in the past, we encourage you to join in the excitement of the raffle for the chance to win a valuable prize and support the MSO.

Raffle tickets are: 1 ticket for $100 or 5 tickets for $400.

For the information of raffle ticket purchasers, the MSO will track ticket purchasers and their ticket purchases as follows: 

  • MSO will assign each ticket purchaser with a ticket number(s) for each ticket purchased

  • MSO will send confirmatory letters to ticket purchasers who buy tickets before a certain date notifying them of their assigned ticket number(s)

  • MSO will register each ticket purchaser’s name and their assigned ticket number(s) on a spread sheet
