Michael Hall studied French horn on scholarship at the Peabody Conservatory and University of Cincinnati. He has served as principal horn of National Philharmonic for 17 years, Mid-Atlantic Symphony for 10, and has performed with just about every orchestra in town, including Baltimore and National Symphonies. Horn playing has taken Michael to Carnegie Hall, all over Europe, down to Brazil, and out to South Korea, China, and even Qatar. He toured the United States as associate principal horn of the China National Symphony. And he has shared the stage with such musical greats as Wynton Marsalis, Itzhak Perlman, Ray Charles, and Steven Curtis Chapman.
