One of the highlights of our season is the annual Holiday Joy Gala and Concert on Thursday, December 3, at the Todd Performing Arts Center at Chesapeake College. Hosted by the Talbot County Board of Directors, the evening begins with a festive gala dinner in the Atrium, featuring a welcome reception, elegant three-course dinner, and holiday entertainment before concluding with our beloved Holiday Joy concert at 7:30 PM. This year's performance will feature acclaimed tenor David Morgans and mezzo-soprano Lauren Torey, joining the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra for a celebration of the season.
The holiday festivities continue with our cherished Toast to the New Year concert on Thursday, December 31, at Christ Church in Easton. This elegant New Year's Eve tradition will feature internationally acclaimed soprano Laquita Mitchell. The evening’s program will include Viennese waltzes, operatic favorites, popular selections from the American songbook and timeless classics, providing the perfect way to welcome 2027.
These signature holiday events serve as both celebrations of music and important fundraising opportunities that help sustain the Orchestra's artistic excellence throughout the season.
